Hi, I'm Macey Austin. Growing up in the Youngstown area and now as a local business owner, I'm passionate about showcasing the vibrant small business community in the Steel Valley.

With a background in broadcast journalism and several years of experience working in digital marketing, I've helped launch grand openings for local businesses and captured the stories that make them unique.

With my degree in broadcast journalism, I adopted the habit of always having my camera with me, ready to capture meaningful visuals and tell unique stories.
I've had the opportunity to work in Bowling Green, Toledo and Pittsburgh, but I still believe Youngstown has something special that needs to be shared. There's a unique charm and resilience here that sets it apart, and I'm excited to highlight it.
I love connecting with fellow business owners and highlighting what makes Youngstown special.
Some of my favorite things include: aesthetic & consistent visuals, fashion, health & wellness, spending time outside and enjoying time with my friends and family.

Hi, I’m Haley Rozeski. I’m a lifelong Ohioan with a passion for uncovering the hidden gems of local cities. With a love for community engagement, I dedicate this blog to encourage the people of Youngstown and surrounding areas to explore their city in new and exciting ways. Through this platform, Macey and I aim to highlight and promote local events and find new things to do ourselves.
Stuff to do in Youngstown isn’t just about events; it is a tribute to the city’s spirit and resilience. We plan to share personal experiences and tips in hopes of inspiring others to step out of their comfort zones and discover all Youngstown has to offer.
For Macey and I, this blog is more than just a hobby - we came up with the idea with the intention to prove to the city and its residents that there is more to do around here than people let on.
